These are just a few of the natural beauties that the south of Argentina has to offer, an unmissable destination for adventure lovers. Thanks to Hiking Patagonia Trails, you’ll be able to access the most fascinating hidden gems of the area, in the company of specialist guides and other globetrotters. So that you can start to imagine your twelve day stay in this dream location, here’s a sneak peak of some of the main stops.

Buenos Aires

Before and after your adventure in Patagonia, we’ll let you recharge your batteries in one of the most vibrant cities in the world: Buenos Aires. During the time you spend in the capital, you’ll have the chance to visit the most important neighborhoods, discover the enthralling history and culture of the place, as well as taste some of the local delicacies thanks to an out-of-the-ordinary dinner.

El Calafate

The second stop on Hiking Patagonia Trails, El Calafate, will act as an entry point to the southernmost tip of the American continent. Here, we’ll sail a very short distance away from the Perito Moreno Glacier in order to enjoy dramatic panoramic views across this amazing natural marvel, and the stunning backdrop that dense Patagonian Andean forest provides. Before returning, we’ll put on crampons and walk along the glacier’s frozen surface to experience it in a fantastically different way.

The following day, we’ll set out on another adventure in the direction of the Upsala Glacier and, later, we’ll finish the day by enjoying the tranquility of these latitudes in a ranch which is typical of the region.

El Chaltén

In El Chaltén – also known as the “National Capital of Trekking” – you’ll be able to continue enjoying the phenomenal natural landscapes that the South boasts. During the two days spent in this charming town, you’ll go on unforgettable hikes in the surroundings of the location’s most spectacular mountains: the Fitz Roy and Torre, two true emblems for lovers of mountain climbing in the middle of natural settings.

Ushuaia

Once we reach the so-called “End of the World”, the adventure continues. A visit to the Tierra de Fuego National Park will delight us with the unique views that this place, where the woods and the coast intertwine, has to offer. Shortly after, we’ll go on different trips across water and land to appreciate the Beagle Canal and its diverse flora and fauna from an outstanding array of perspectives.

We’ll dedicate the last day in this natural paradise to visiting a charming Patagonian ranch, with a colony of Magellanic penguins – a species which is typical of the region – included.
